First Warning Weather Day

Erie News Now's First Warning Weather team will be hosting First Warning Weather Day at the Erie Zoo on Saturday, June 15th from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. 

There will be lots of fun activities and demonstrations all centered around weather and how it impacts the animals at the Erie Zoo! Including:

  • A free coloring book and crayons for kids while supplies last.
  • Weather chats and experiments at the Wild Things Theater hosted by David Wolter.
  • A green screen in the Adventure Center so you can try forecasting the weather like John, David, and Joe do on TV!
  • Opportunities to meet the members of the First Warning Weather team and Erie News Now anchors and reporters.
  • Chances to win a "zoo-per" amazing gift basket in a drawing.


 Admission will be $12 for a groups of 4 thanks to UPMC Health Plan. All other admission prices apply.
