The JMC Ice Arena is closed for the season. See you in September!

Need to find a cool way to have fun this fall and winter?
Check out the JMC Ice Arena!
It’s that time of the year again.  Get your skates laced up and head down to the JMC Ice Arena.  Whether you love to skate, need to learn to skate or want to show off your hockey skills, we have you covered.

The JMC Ice Arena participates in the Skate with the U.S. program, the official learn-to-skate program of the United States Figure Skating Association. Children as young as three years old, all the way to adults can participate in lessons, but hurry!  Spots fill up fast since there can’t be more than 12 students in a class to ensure that everyone get equal time and the attention needed.  You can learn the basic fundamentals of skating and maneuvering on the ice.  And when you feel more confident, maybe try out a few tricks. It’s a great way to have family fun in the cold winter months.

For more information on skating lessons, please contact Nakeisha at the zoo office at 814-864-4091 Ext. 222.

And don’t forget the main attraction at the arena is the public skating sessions.  After you take your lessons, you can show off your new skills!

But that’s not all!  Bring your hockey lover to JMC because we also have pick up hockey and additional stick times during the week.

So for some cool fun this fall- check out the JMC Ice Arena!
