Traveling Zoo Outreach Programs
The Erie Zoo can travel to you! The Erie Traveling Zoo comes straight into your classroom, Senior/assisted living, organization, or event and enables your participants to go beyond the limits of a textbook. Also birthday parties are available for public places. The zoo can't go into people's personal homes or property. We can't bring our zoo animals to a location where they can be exposed to other animals, so please inform us of any potential conflicts so we can find a solution that works. They will see, hear, and touch animals and artifacts while learning at the same time. Accommodations can be made for all skill levels and abilities. Please notify us ahead of time so arrangements can be made. The Traveling Zoo is in operation year round and can do programs seven days a week! Cost is double on weekends and after 4 pm on weekdays.
