Scout Group Programs at the Erie Zoo

The Erie Zoo offers special programs for girl scouts and boy scouts. Programs may be scheduled weekdays or weekends between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm for groups of 25 or fewer. Programs may be scheduled year-round. A minimum program fee based on 10 participants will be charged and must be paid prior to your program.

Staying beyond your program time? Make a day of it by including group rate zoo admission for only $7.00 per adult (ages 13 & older) and $5.00 per child (ages 2 -12). Erie Zoo Members are admitted to the zoo free.

Scout Day at the Zoo - Girls and Boys - All Ages

Bring your scout and entire family to the zoo and complete a zoo-wide scavenger hunt, experience an animal show (pre-scheduled times), and visit scout only stations on zoo careers. Visit the check in table near the front lawn for your materials and patch when you arrive. An Erie Zoo fun patch is your reward!  When you sign up, you choose a time for your animal program.  You should arrive and check in at the check in table at least 15 minutes before your program time.  Please register online at   Pre-payment and registration is required. Zoo admission is additional. $1 Special Zoo admission for scouts wearing a uniform.

Sat., May 4, 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.

Cost: $7 per scout and $4 for family members.   Children ages 2 and under are free but should be registered. They will not receive the program materials.
