Food at the Erie Zoo
The Erie Zoo has various concession stands throughout the park. The hours of operation and menus vary depending on the season, weather, and attendance. At this time, our concession areas are temporarily closed. However, we are still making fresh popcorn and cotton candy daily and selling it in the gift shop! See information below regarding food trucks/outside vendors as well.
Erie Zoo members receive a 10% discount on all concession stand items if they present their membership card.

Mobile Food Vendors and Trucks
In lieu of staffing shortages during the off-season months, starting March 1st, 2024, your Erie Zoo is excited to welcome local mobile food vendors to serve on weekends (weather and attendance permitting) right outside the Front Entrance Gates of the zoo to help supplement our concession stands and feature local businesses! No admission is necessary to visit the vendors, and if you are a zoo visitor, outside food is welcomed on grounds. Member discounts do not apply to mobile vendors. A portion of all proceeds benefits your nonprofit zoo. Check out our Facebook page to see updates on which food trucks will be here on each given weekend! Request for Proposal (RFP) Opportunity
We're thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for culinary businesses to join us in elevating the dining experience at our beloved zoo. Whether you're a food truck owner, restaurateur, food supplier, or community partner, we invite you to showcase your delicious creations to the hundreds of thousands of visitors who flock to the Erie Zoo each year. This is your chance to be a part of something special, creating unforgettable memories for families and friends of all ages. Proposals will be accepted until 10 am on Friday, April 26th 2024. All proposals must be in sealed envelopes and clearly marked "Erie Zoo Concessionaire Proposal 2024." The Erie Zoo reserves the right to reject any and all proposals when it is in the interest of the Erie Zoo and to reject any proposal of any bidder who is not in the position to perform the contract.
