About the Erie Zoo

The Erie Zoo is the perfect place to spend the day or just a few hours. A comfortable walk throughout the Erie Zoo and Botanical Garden takes about 2 hours. You'll enjoy visiting with nearly 300 animals in our collection as well as the 11 beautiful gardens throughout the park.

Erie Zoo Hours:

• Open daily from 10am-5pm with last admission at 4:15pm, March 1st through November 30th. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day.
• Erie Zoo Office is open Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (Closed for lunch between 1pm - 1:30pm). The office is closed all major holidays and from Dec. 25th - Jan. 2nd.

Admission Rates:

Adults 13 & above: $12.00
Seniors 62 & above: $10.00
Children 2-12: $8.00
23 months and under: Free

**Admission prices are reduced by $1 each during the off-season months

Directions to the Erie Zoo

FROM SOUTH 
Take I-79 north to I-90 East. Go east on 90 to Exit #27. Turn left at the end of the off-ramp. Continue straight ahead for approximately 3 miles. You will go through 3 traffic lights - at the 4th traffic light, you want to make a left. At the next traffic light make another left into the parking lot.

FROM WEST (OH) 
Take I-90 to Exit #27. Turn left at the end of the off-ramp. Continue straight ahead for approximately 3 miles. You will go through 3 traffic lights - at the 4th traffic light, you want to make a left. At the next traffic light make another left into the parking lot.

FROM EAST (NY) 
Take I-90 to Exit #27. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp. Continue straight ahead for approximately 3 miles. You will go through 2 traffic lights - at the 3rd traffic light, you want to make a left. At the next traffic light make another left into the parking lot.
