Erie Zoo Memberships are the wildest deal in town! When you join the Erie Zoo, you receive free daily admission to our Zoo and discounted admission to over 50 zoos across the country.

NEW for 2024:
- Zoo Memberships will expire 1 year from the date of purchase
- If current members renew BEFORE their expiration date, it will ADD 1 year to their original expiration date (for example: if a membership is set to expire on May 1st, 2024 and it's renewed before May 1st - it will add an additional year to the expiration date, making the new expiration May 1st, 2025!
- We are going green - moving to digital membership cards! (Current members that have physical cards will still be able to use them until their renewal date, then they will need to transition over to a digital card)
- The individual membership price has been reduced from $85 --> $65
- We've added two new membership categories: Zoo for Two & Partners in Conservation

Gift Memberships

To purchase a gift membership: click on the "Sign Up Now" button at the top or bottom of this page, choose the type of membership, select "gift membership," enter your information as the gift giver and the recipient's information as the gift receiver, and proceed with the payment. You will have the option to select whether or not to send the gift information directly to yourself or the recipient.
Reciprocal Zoos
ReMEMBER to download your digital membership card prior to traveling, as more than 50 zoos, museums and aquariums offer Erie Zoo members half price or free admission. Please note that the list may change during the year, and it is always best to call a participating zoo while planning a visit. View the current reciprocal list below:
Digital Cards
In an effort to reduces costs and go green - we've introduced digital membership cards! No more waiting for a card to be mailed to you; you'll receive an email minutes after purchasing/renewing a membership. If digital cards will not work for you, we will still offer the printing of physical cards for a nominal fee of $5 each. See the Digital Membership Card FAQ section below for more information:
Please Note
- Children included in memberships must be under 18 years of age and live in the household
- Grandchildren included in memberships must be under 18 years of age
- A named card holder must be present to use membership privileges at the Zoo
- Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferrable and may not be shared between households
- Must present valid ID with membership
- The Zoo is a nonprofit organization
