Events

The Erie Zoo will be hosting its third annual Zoo for All event on Saturday, September 5th from 10am to 2pm. This event is presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield as part of their Healthy Zoo, Healthy You initiative.

The goal of Zoo for All is to encourage our community to get outside, exercise, and enjoy fresh air while walking around the zoo grounds, all while making the zoo affordable and accessible for everyone. Admission will be FREE to all visitors all day thanks to the generous support of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Stop by our classroom and stage before or after the event to check out our annual conservation book sale running from 8am until 4pm. All proceeds will be dedicated to supporting our conservation initiatives. 

While at the Zoo from 10 am to 2 pm, we will be hosting a goldfish and Koi fish surrender intake event for our Last Chance Lagoon, as well as having Taradoodles, Beary Creative, and Emily Watcher early Intervention and Support Services joining us!
