Karl Foerster's Feather Reed Grass (Calamagrostis Xacutiflora 'Karl Foerster') is an attractive ornamental grass named after Karl Foerster (1874 - 1970), a well know nurseryman who introduced many new plant cultivars to the field of horticulture.

Great as a specimen, border, or in massing. Excellent for rain gardens, seasonal garden beds, and natural areas
Care Practices
Plant in full sun to part shade in moist soil. This ornamental grass tolerates high temperatures, a variety of soil types, and pollution, but it is not cold hardy. Cut these to the ground in late winter to promote new growth in the spring.
