Women Dominate at the Erie Zoo

“I think it was traditionally considered a man’s job because of the physical aspects of it,” Rekitt said. “But we’re just as physically capable. We’re out there feeding and cleaning exhibits, just like they do. Now it’s the opposite. I’d say it’s three-quarters female and one-quarter male.”
